Not every grape rests peacefully.
Some grapes get famous. Some get forgotten. And some come so close to disappearing that the fact we can still pour them deserves a small celebration.
Naturally, we’re holding a gathering for the dead.
Dead Grapes Society: The Lost, Forgotten & Resurrected is a guided tasting devoted to lost, overlooked, nearly extinct, and resurrected grape varieties from around the world. On the eve of Halloween, we’ll raise a glass to the varieties history nearly left behind - and the people who refused to let that happen.
